01What we collect

We collect only what the service needs to function:

• Account details — your name, email address and, if you provide it, your mobile number.
• Authentication data — a hashed password (we never store the plaintext) and one-time codes sent during signup or admin sign-in.
• Exam activity — the papers you sit, your answers, timing per question, scores and derived analytics.
• Payment records — plan purchased, amount, invoice number and Razorpay order and payment identifiers. Card and bank details are handled entirely by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
• Basic technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, used for security and aggregate usage statistics.

02Why we use it

To operate your account and deliver simulations; to compute your scores, percentile and topic analysis; to enforce plan quotas; to send transactional email such as verification codes and payment receipts; to detect abuse; and to meet tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your exam activity for advertising.

03Who we share it with

Only the processors needed to run the service:

• Razorpay — payment processing, under its own privacy policy.
• Our email provider — delivery of verification codes and receipts.
• Google (Gemini API) — topic and syllabus prompts used to author original practice questions. Your personal data and your answers are never sent.
• Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to disclose.

04Where your data lives

Data is stored on our own server infrastructure in an encrypted-in-transit form (HTTPS throughout). Application secrets are held encrypted at rest. Sessions use signed, HTTP-only cookies that JavaScript cannot read.

05How long we keep it

Account and exam history are retained while your account is open, so you can track progress over time. One-time codes expire after ten minutes. Invoices and transaction records are kept for eight years, as Indian tax law requires. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days except records we must retain by law.

06Your rights

Write to us and we will action any of the following:

• Get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Delete your account and associated personal data.
• Object to a particular use, or ask us to restrict it.

07Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to dismiss.

08Children

Quizentra AI is intended for candidates preparing for competitive examinations. If you are under 18, use it with a parent or guardian’s involvement. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
